The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
I took a day trip from Appenzell Switzerland to Konstance Germany. On the way I stopped and walked into Austria and back. I enjoyed lunch and of course taking pictures along the way. This entryway beckoned me to enter and also to stay out, which was it? I didn't try to enter but enjoyed the scene it presented, and I thought how I would like to be granted entry into the quiet space behind this entry.
